I can think of only one reason for buying decorative accent pillows and that is style. This is a big deal for most people, some not so important. I am very simple for the most part, but my wife is a bit more classy. With me, solid colors are just about everything, for her, bright colors with classy designs are more important. We recently purchased a home in this down spiral of an economy and have been considering the most cost effective options to improve our home’s decor. My wife and I have two boys and rarely does a pillow stay on the sofa when they are in the room. My older son of three enjoys playing cars on our large sofa, so immediately when he wants to play, the pillows go on the floor. If it were not for the fabric and the teflon, the pillows would likely be ruined by now. I can not count the times juice was spilled on them and the sofa. Because of the added teflon, a simple wipe makes them look new.
